on your website is outdated so i've been using the change number option to see
the list of available area codes, (which is why i know the website is outdated,
becuase there are more area codes listed there than on website). anyway. I muct
have clicked something wrong becuase i got a message that my number had been
changed to an area code i was viewing. this was an accident. cani i get my
number changed back to what it was a few minutes ago before i goofed somehow?
Ruben: May I have your magicjack phone
number please?
Patrick Jones: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Ruben: Patrick, did you click on Next
instead of clicking back when you are trying to see the available area codes and
prefixes?
Patrick Jones: i'm not sure but i'm
thinking i must have.
Ruben: As I have checked here on our
database the magicjack phone number was now changed. We may not be able to
change it back to the old magicjack phone number that you have as when you
change the number the old phone number will be reverted on our database. If
someone calls your old magicajck phone number it will be forwarded to the number
for 30 - 60 days. But it will be deactivated Patrick. My apologies.
Patrick Jones: ok, so i am stuck with my
new number then? Can you at least give me back my 1 free phone number change to
my account so i can change it again without having to pay? i know its my fault i
messed up but nobody is updating the website so ya kinda have to look at area
codes the way i was doing.
Ruben: I do apologize Patrick but that
is beyond my capabilities we do not have rights on giving the free phone number
change back on the magicjack. You may change back the magicajck to the xxx area
code again but it may costs $10.00 for the phone number change. I am very sorry.
I will forward this concern to our higher management so that we can update the
available area codes on our lists on the site to avoid having this issue again.
Patrick Jones: ugh! ok, well... so there is nothing you can do for me then basically?
Ruben: I believe i have provided you all the answers to your questions at this time and I am asking your permission to terminate this session.
